Pastor Corey Brooks made a statement on Facebook about the death of Tyquan Manney, 18, shot and killed in Gresham this past weekend. R.I.P. Tyquan Manney – Sometimes living and ministering in the Hood to people on the margins can break your heart. TQ graduated from our school, was in our construction program and was one of my 5 personal mentees.
Today at the age of 18, he was shot and killed, while walking to the store. This is another reason I have to produce more opportunities and build the Vocational and Entrepreneurial Community Center before it’s too late. Please pray for his family.
