(Maggio News) Wednesday in Chicago was relatively calm only two people were shot and wounded.
The first shooting happened at 3:23am on the 5400 block of west North Avenue. A male Hispanic, 24, was in a vehicle when he heard shots and felt pain. Victim was self-transported to Community First and was transferred to Il Masonic in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the chest. No one is in custody. Area North investigating.
The second Shooting happened on the 6700 block of south Winchester at 2:54pm. A male age 21 sustained a gunshot wound to the right armpit and right elbow. He was transported to Mt. Sinai in stable condition. Victim stated he was at above location when unknown offenders pulled up in a light-colored sedan and began firing shots. Victim has gang affiliation. Area South investigating.
