“I saw my neighbor’s son come running around the corner. I heard the gunshots. I asked him if he was OK. He said he was OK. I calmed myself checking his body. Apparently, I didn’t do a good job because he got shot in the back. The lower part of his back,” another neighbor who wished to remain nameless said.

The boy was rushed to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

The circumstances of the shooting were still under investigation and details have not been released.

    Hello my Friend
Good work on shining the light on this Violence gutting our neighborhoods.

I spend time in many areas of Chicago .
I would like to ask you to keep a look out to See what the SSA patrols are doing on the South and West side
I have seen a Huge amounts of City funds going to 2 MBE security companies with no effect on security in them Areas . I even starting to suspect that the SSA Patrol is not even in the area at times of these Crimes. That is massive funding that could go to a better use preventing Crime.
