“The day after it happened, I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism.”
— President Obama, remarks at a news conference, May 13, 2013
Once again, it appears that we must parse a few presidential words. We went through this question at length during the 2012 election, but perhaps a refresher course is in order. Notably, during a debate with Republican nominee Mitt Romney, President Obama said that he immediately told the American people that the killing of the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans in Libya “was an act of terror.” But now he says he called it “an act of terrorism.”
Some readers may object to this continuing focus on words, but presidential aides spend a lot of time on words. Words have consequences. Is there a difference between “act of terror” and “act of terrorism”? Continue Reading
WASHINGTON: Hearings took place today on Capitol Hill before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the deadly September attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi. Once again there was a pathetic example of the ruling class in Congress protecting failure. The priorities of both parties were clearly on display today on Capitol Hill. The Democrats where fawning over Hillary Clinton complementing her about everything under the sun, including her exemplary service as Secretary of State. A handful of Republicans brought out the hardest line of questioning that didn’t seem to penetrate Hillary’s continued stonewalling of the issues presented by these lawmakers.
In the first round of hearings Hillary rolled out the phony emotions early by shedding tears when describing standing along side the President when the four Benghazi victims arrived at Andrews Air Force Base. What should be noted here is that upon viewing the video of Hillary at Andrews Air Force Base,it clearly showed Hillary Clinton was not shedding tears of any kind, in fact she looked stern and uninvolved. This is completely the opposite performance she gave today before Congress.
Sen.Rand Paul hammered Hillary during the Senate Hearing by saying a couple of things; nobody was fired after the failures of 9/11 or held accountable for the worst terrorist attacks in U.S.History. The Senator continued to say that when people make these kind of judgments and errors they should be replaced and not be allowed to make any more bad decisions.Quote:if I was President “I Would Have Relieved You Of Your Post”.
Sen. Ron Johnson hit a nerve when he asked “Why didn’t the American people know the truth within days of the incident?”. An angry Hillary Clinton shouted out, was it a protest or was it a bunch of guys out for a walk that wanted to kill Americans “What Difference at this point Does It Make”. What the senator failed to say to the secretary after her deflective rant was the difference is Mrs. Clinton these people were asking you for help and you ma’am denied them the assistance they requested, so you are responsible for the deaths of 4 people including a U.S. Ambassador and to me this fall’s under dereliction of duty.
The fact is the Secretary of State came out publicly over and over again and blamed the anti-Mohammed film for the attacks on the US Embassy in Benghazi. This is proof of either negligence or incompetence or both, either way this is unacceptable. The truth is our ambassador continually warned the State Department, through cables, that there was an Al Qaeda threat looming and help was needed. These requests were simply overlooked or rejected or ignored, this is a failure of the individuals in charge or this is an indictment of the State Departments effectiveness in handling our diplomat’s safety and the safety of our citizens representing our embassy’s around the globe.
Hillary Clinton and the Democrats are trying to relay what message to the American people? The failure in Benghazi was due to lack of money to properly secure and protect our Ambassador and Embassy. Who holds the purse strings, Congress? Who presently runs Congress, Republicans? This is a perfect example of how they seize the narrative and deflect responsibility from themselves and put the blame on others in their typical straw man Fashion. They apply this tactic constantly to every issue. This is extremely frustrating how they circle the wagons to protect each other even in the face of extreme failure. If you look beyond the fawning compliments you can clearly see they failed to protect our people in Benghazi. Hillary Clinton has clearly accepted responsibility for failing to protect US Ambassador Stevens and three others. But what consequences go along with accepting responsibility for the cover-up perpetrated by you, the President and UN Ambassador Susan Rice? Will the Secretary be rewarded for her failure, lies and deceit? Will this complimentary Congress back her in the 2016 presidential election? Remember this, the left in this country rewards failure big-time, all the time, every time. Right “Mrs. President”
America remember these hard facts, it was Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton that involved us in the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya and also helped unleash the Arab spring. They provided weapons to fighters in Libya without even knowing who they where or who they where affiliated with. This is just a few things in a long list of events that prove this President and Secretary of State are in over their heads.

We should not forget what they did to our Ambassador in Libya. Those animals raped and murdered him while this administration sat on their hands as they dragged his corpse through the streets of Benghazi like some kind of trophy. When you look at this picture and you hear just how nonchalantly Hillary and most of these lawmakers in Congress talk about this incident without the shock and awe that it deserves. This gets me sick to my stomach and it should get you sick too.
